Your Impact

   

The Technical Sales Strategist will be responsible for actively driving and managing SKAI’s sales process. The ideal candidate will work in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders as the key advisor and product advocate for the SKAI suite of advertising products. This role combines consultative selling, technical solution mapping, and client-facing relationship building and reports to Tailwind’s CRO. In this role, you will lead complex business and technological discussions with the key EMEA players to understand their pain points and development plans and design solutions based on SKAI’s capabilities to address them.


The Technical Sales Strategist must be fluent in articulating technology and solutions positioning to both business and technical audiences, and establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.


The successful candidate will be based at TDG’s Headquarters in Athens.

 

Key Responsibilities


  • Development and delivery of high-stakes sales presentations, design proofs-of-concept, and product demonstrations to a wide variety of audiences, which include high level managers, marketing professionals and engineers.
  • Conduct Solutions’ Discovery sessions directly with prospects and customers.
  • Engage customers and partners to evaluate clients' 1st and 3rd party data integration, technology vendor requirements, and developing integration strategies for the platform.
  • Engage in a rapid education process including formal training, self-study and field experience designed to position the candidate as a solution expert on the Skai platforms and related solutions as quickly as possible.
  • Research and create reports to help understand prospects’ structure and development plans.
  • Work closely with internal and partner teams throughout the entire sales cycle: provide meaningful customer and market feedback, build and provide visibility on pipeline across Tailwind markets, contribute to SKAI’s GTM plan across regions, collaborate to create efficient cross-team and partner workflows and sales-ops.

   

We’re looking for someone who

 

  • Extensive background in the Digital Marketing and Commerce ecosystem; familiarity with marketing on search/social/commerce channels. Hands on experience is considered a plus.
  •  +3 years of relevant technical account management, sales or field sales experience.
  • Excellent client-facing skills and experience in dealing with client and technical teams.
  •  Ability to present solution concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied departmental environments.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and positive thinker.
