Your Impact


To join us on our mission to keep the Open Web Open, we are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Director to join our team and help us market technology that empowers local publishers. You will lead the Marketing Department which sits at the unique intersection of Marketing, Product and Business, working within all stages of the product life-cycle - from ideation to development to wide release, which includes marketing and PR campaigns, lead generation and account-based marketing.


You will be responsible for bringing our current and new products to the international markets we are present in, with strong positioning, as well as marketing and sales enablement materials. As the Marketing Director, you will be the link between the publisher teams from sales, product and customers’ success. You will be tasked with turning our innovative media technology and advertising products into substantial revenue-generating businesses used by millions of people across the world.


Being part of a fast-growing scale-up organization, the role requires a self-starting, results-oriented and passionate professional to be instrumental in executing successfully our marketing initiatives to market.


The successful candidate will join the TDG’s Headquarters in Athens, will report to Project Agora’s Managing Director and will work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Sales.

Key Responsibilities


  • Researches and analyzes the competition to define and promote our USP per market and per product.
  • Enhances our USPs per market by working with the product team.
  • Constantly monitors industry developments and understands our competitive position within this ever-changing environment.
  • Clearly articulates Project Agora’s value proposition in a way that resonates within the market.
  • Conducts market research and maintains Project Agora’s market share estimations per product and per region.
  • Works with Product Management & Commercial teams to deliver the company’s Go to Market programs across geos and client segments.
  • Develops and delivers marketing demand generation plans through digital awareness and conversion campaigns orchestrating a diverse set of channels and practices such as ABM, SEM, Social Media, Email Marketing, Digital PR, CRO, SEO.
  • Oversees all Customer Touchpoints (e.g. website, partner center, newsletters, events) and leads CRM strategy, including lead nurture, lifecycle communication and segmentation campaigns.
  • Oversees content marketing and thought-leadership writing.


We’re looking for someone who has


  • Natural curiosity to keep constantly up to date with industry developments. 
  • Superior commercial acumen. 
  • Minimum 5 years digital marketing experience with a track record of orchestrating demand generation programs
  • Experience in B2B marketing and in driving product launches, including value proposition development and product positioning.
  • Hands on knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g. Hubspot, Active Campaign, Marketo, Salesforce).
  • Superior data analytics skills with practical expertise in Google Analytics and BI tools
  • Talent in content development, especially translating anything technical to business literacy. Comfortable in writing and planning content.
  • Teamwork skills, proven ability to manage external resources and collaborate with other functions in the company.
